French Fries Day |
Are French Fries French? French fries were probably invented in Belgium, but nobody knows for sure. The word "french" refers to the way that are made. Any food cut up into strips is called "frenched", so potatoes cut into strips and fried were known as French Fried Potatoes. Maybe McDonald's started calling them French Fries! |
