Watch a Squirrel Day
| The Grey Squirrel has been traced back 50 million years. It is a rodent about fifteen inches long that weighs around one pound. Its diet consists of nuts, seeds and fruit. Their life span is six years, but most squirrels inside the cities don't reach their first birthday. This is not because of predators - they are usually killed by automobiles. Squirrels want their own cross-walks! |
