Dinosaur Lovers Day |
The word "dinosaur" was invented by Sir Richard Owen in 1842 to describe "fearfully great reptiles" - and there were only three dinosaurs known at the time. Scientists have now identified more than 700 speicies in many shapes and sizes. They lived from 225 million years ago up until about 65 million years ago.
