Rag Rug Day |
Rag rugs were the specialty of creative pioneer women living in the frontier. Originally made out of worn out clothes, many different patterns and techniques were developed. The only requirement was that they be made from strips of cloth and hand woven. In recent years, their popularity has returned as either 3-strand braided or crocheted rugs.
