Circus Circus Day |
Circuses are the most enduring form of entertainment in the world. In the Roman days, they featured wild animal duels and chariot races. During the middle ages, a circus meant traveling troups that stopped in the marketplace with trained animals and acrobats. The kind of circus we know today began as a way to show fancy riding. Clowns were added to fill the time between riders, and the modern circus was on it's way. Ringling Bros. Online |
