Tom Sawyer Day |
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" was Mark Twain's first novel. The book was a failure when it was published in 1876, but it was a stepping stone to bigger things. He went on to write the great "Huckleberry Finn" and other stories of childhood or the Mississippi Valley.
