Angel Food Cake Day |
An angel food cake is a simple sponge cake. This means it's made without egg yolks or any other source of fat. To keep it a fat-free dessert, serve unfrosted slices with fresh fruit. The secret to making this cake comes from my great aunt - drop the cake pan on the floor several times before putting it in the over. This will get all the air bubbles out of the batter.
