There are lots of theories surrounding the number "13" - and why people think it's unlucky. The most popular idea is that there were 13 guests at the Last Supper of Christ - and the 13th was Judas. But, "13" was considered unlucky as far back as five thousand years ago. Whatever the real reason, hotels still skip from the 12th to the 14th floor and never have a room numbered 13. |
