1 chicken, boiled and boned 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 lb grated cheese 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 can tomatoes and green chilies 12 flour tortillas chicken broth saved from boiling chicken DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Grease a 3 quart casserole dish or a 9"x13" pan. Line up all the ingredients except for the cans. Use 1/3 of each ingredient per layer. Dip the tortillas in the saved chicken broth before adding them to the layers. 3. Layer the ingredients in your baking dish in the following order: dipped tortillas, chicken, onion, green pepper, chili powder, cheese. Repeat the layers 2 more times. 4. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cans of soup and can of tomatos and chilies. Mix well and pour over the top of your layers. Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly. ENJOY! |
