| The Incas always celebrated the Birth Of The Sun on September 20th. The sun is the largest object in our solar system and is about 4.6 billion years old. Cultures that practiced sun worship down through history were usually agrarian societies. When men became farmers, they were dependent on daily and seasonal changes in the weather. The sun was the great force that regulated these changes — the light and heat they needed for their crops. |
