A young banker is promoted to vice president. He's so pleased that he brags about it to everyone for weeks on end.
Finally, after listening to him go on and on about his promotion to all their friends, his wife can’t take it any longer. “Listen,” she says, “a vice presidency means nothing. Why, at the grocery store they even have a vice president of peas.”
“Really?” he says. But. thinking his wife is kidding, he decides to find out for himself. He calls the grocery store and a clerk answers. “May I please talk to the vice president of peas?” the man asks.
“Canned or frozen?” comes the reply.
