You can transform any room at very low cost with balloons. They
can be made into arches, columns or an overhead
drop. Crepe papers streamers and nylon fishing line can be woven and taped
to hold the balloons overhead until midnight
when a tug will release them. Messy but fun is filling balloons with
confetti using a small funnel and breaking them open at
midnight.

You can make balloon arrangements like the pros if you know one simple
trick. They get the all the balloons the same size by
using a template. It's simple to make. Use a large piece of cardboard, a
piece of sting and a pencil. Make a circle the size of
the balloon you want to use and then cut out the center with and exacto
knife.

A fun craft you can use year after year is the string balloon. Dip
string into glue and wrap around an inflated balloon. Make
sure there are no holes and the string covers the balloon evenly. After the
glue dries pop the balloon and your have a perfect balloon shape. You can
now spray paint the string balloon any color and glue glitter and stars on
the string. Makes a great New Year centerpiece with the addition of some ribbon.
