More Thanksgiving Fun


INGREDIENTS

BREAD
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups applesauce
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 mini aluminum loaf pans

GLAZE
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp butter
5 tsp water
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla



DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Comine brown sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add the melted chocolate chips, eggs and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Add the flour, applesauce, baking powder and baking soda. Beat on low speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Stil in chocolate chips by hand. Spoon batter in the 5 greased mini loaf pans. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. For the glaze, combine chocolate chips, butter and water in a saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Drizzle glaze over each loaf.
